The MXU 270i Euro is the fuel-injected, liquid-cooled 271 cc ATV, line LF60A, which also covers the 2020 and 2021 machines our catalog lists as MXU 270; the older carburetted MXU 270 (LA60J) has its own sheet. Engine oil and the strainer screen are due at 150 km and then every 1,000 km or 6 months, while the transmission (500 cc) and the rear final gear (100 cc) take SAE 90 every 2,000 km or 12 months. It takes a DPR7EA-9 plug gapped 0.8 to 0.9 mm, the coolant is replaced every 24 months, and our catalog lists the YTX14-BS battery for every year.

Clean, dry threads unless the row says otherwise. Aluminium cases strip long before a steel bolt complains, so use a torque wrench on the drain bolt and the plug.
