KYMCO CV3 Service Specs: Part Numbers and Intervals
Battery, spark plug, oil, filters, belt and torque for the KYMCO CV3: KYMCO service data with the genuine part number and diagram for each.
This is the service sheet for the KYMCO CV3 (4-stroke twin, liquid cooled, 550.4 cc, fuel injected, CVT with a toothed belt final drive, three wheels). It lists the battery, spark plug, filters, belt and the rest, each figure with the genuine KYMCO part number for the model years in our catalog (2023, 2026) and the diagram the part is drawn on. The figures are KYMCO service data from the KYMCO CV3 service manual (model SBA1CA). When this page and your own manual disagree, the manual wins.

What to know before you order
The CV3 is KYMCO's three-wheel 550 cc twin, so it takes two NGK CR7E plugs, gapped 0.7 to 0.8 mm, and it drives the rear wheel through a toothed belt after the CVT. That puts two belts on the service list: the CVT belt, inspected every 5,000 km, and the final drive belt, replaced at 20,000 km and tensioned with a sonic meter. Engine oil and the spin-on filter are both 5,000 km items, and the factory battery in our catalog is the TTZ14S.

CV3 maintenance intervals
Whichever comes first, distance or time. The first service is the one riders skip and the one that matters most on a new or rebuilt engine.
| Item | Interval |
|---|---|
| Engine oil and oil filter | replace at 1,000 km (600 mi), then every 5,000 km (3,100 mi) |
| Oil strainer screens | clean at 1,000 km (600 mi), then clean or replace every 5,000 km (3,100 mi) |
| Air filter | inspect at 10,000 km (6,200 mi), replace at 20,000 km (12,450 mi) |
| CVT filter | replace every 10,000 km (6,200 mi) |

| CVT drive belt | inspect every 5,000 km (3,100 mi) |
| Final drive belt | replace at 20,000 km (12,450 mi) |

| Brake fluid and coolant | replace every 10,000 km (6,200 mi) |
Torque for the parts you replace
Clean, dry threads unless the row says otherwise. Aluminium cases strip long before a steel bolt complains, so use a torque wrench on the drain bolt and the plug.

Electrical test values
Measured at about 20 °C with the connector unplugged. A reading far outside the range points at the part; a reading inside it sends you back to the wiring and the connectors.
| Part | Test value | Genuine part number |
|---|---|---|
| Ignition coil | primary 740 ± 20 mΩ | |
| Crank position sensor | 96-144 Ω | |
| Stator | any two yellow wires, about 0.4-0.6 Ω |
|
| Regulator rectifier | 14-15 V at the battery, 5,000 rpm | |
| Fuel injection | injectors 10.6-15.9 Ω; fuel pump 300 ± 10 kPa (3 bar) |

Which model year do I have?
The year decides which number is yours where a row lists more than one. Decode your VIN with the VIN lookup, or read the model code on the frame plate, then open that year's diagrams from the model list.
