What to know before you order
The MXU 700 changed drive belt in 2019, so the belt row lists two numbers with their years. It takes 2.4 L of SAE 5W-50 at an oil change, 2.6 L with the filter, and the same YTX20L-BS battery and CR7E plug as the rest of the large MXU and UXV range. The LE versions run larger 14 inch tires at 10 and 14 psi.

MXU 700 maintenance intervals
Whichever comes first, distance or time. The first service is the one riders skip and the one that matters most on a new or rebuilt engine.

Torque for the parts you replace
Clean, dry threads unless the row says otherwise. Aluminium cases strip long before a steel bolt complains, so use a torque wrench on the drain bolt and the plug.

Electrical test values
Measured at about 20 °C with the connector unplugged. A reading far outside the range points at the part; a reading inside it sends you back to the wiring and the connectors.
