What to know before you order

The X-Town 300i takes a DPR6EA-9 plug, gapped 0.8 to 0.9 mm, where the smaller scooters use the CR types. It is liquid cooled, with coolant and brake fluid on a 10,000 km or yearly change, the air filter is a 3,000 km item, and KYMCO specifies SAE 5W-50 for the engine. The weight roller set changed for 2020, so check the year on that row.

X-Town 300i maintenance intervals

Whichever comes first, distance or time. The first service is the one riders skip and the one that matters most on a new or rebuilt engine.

Torque for the parts you replace

Clean, dry threads unless the row says otherwise. Aluminium cases strip long before a steel bolt complains, so use a torque wrench on the drain bolt and the plug.

Electrical test values

Measured at about 20 °C with the connector unplugged. A reading far outside the range points at the part; a reading inside it sends you back to the wiring and the connectors.
