What to know before you order
The UXV 450i shares the MXU 450i's 442.9 cc engine but not its printed plug: our catalog lists the NGK CR7E for every UXV 450i year, gapped 0.7 to 0.8 mm, where the manual printed a CR6E. It carries 2.5 L of coolant plus the reserve, a spin-on oil cartridge, and front and rear drive gear oil on a 2,000 km or yearly change.

Torque for the parts you replace
Clean, dry threads unless the row says otherwise. Aluminium cases strip long before a steel bolt complains, so use a torque wrench on the drain bolt and the plug.

Electrical test values
Measured at about 20 °C with the connector unplugged. A reading far outside the range points at the part; a reading inside it sends you back to the wiring and the connectors.
